Il y a les 3/4 des films qui ne sont pas encore sortis même aux usa.. Le meilleur moyen d’apparaitre dans ce genre de listes, c’est de sortir son film fin décembre ou janvier en Europe. A se demander si ce ne sont pas des listes sponsorisées pour promouvoir les prochaines sorties.
Et c’est quoi un soecial haward ? Un prix pour caser les productions étrangères ?

Les Cahiers ne devraient pas tarder à lâcher leur liste.
Je me suis amusé à pronostiquer tels que je les connais et en re parcourant les numéros de l'année :
Le film de l'année sera
Synonymes, de Nadav Lapid ou Le Livre d'Images, de Jean-Luc Godard

Puis, sans ordre particulier:
Les Misérables, de Ladj Ly
Bacurau, de Kleber Mendonça Filho
Jeanne, de Bruno Dumont
La Mule, de Clint Eastwood
Douleur et Gloire, de Pedro Almodovar
Parasite, de Bong joon-ho
Glass, de M.Night Shyamalan
et peut-être que The Irishman, de Martin Scorsese, a sa chance même si je pense qu'ils vont préférer Terminal Sud, de Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche, cinéaste déjà honoré par la revue.
