A sci-fi/horror sleeper hit that birthed a franchise and launched the career of a new action movie icon, Pitch Black holds its own today as a nerve-shredding creature-feature in which the monsters outside finally meet their match against a monster within.

When an intergalactic transport ship crashes on a remote desert planet with no sign of help on the horizon, the survivors, led by Fry (Radha Mitchell), band together to find a way back home. Among the passengers is Riddick (Vin Diesel), a convicted murderer being transported by marshal Johns (Cole Hauser) and now freed of his chains and on the loose. But as a solar eclipse plunges the planet into total darkness, a threat even worse than Riddick reveals itself, and the last humans standing may have to form an uneasy truce with the cunning fugitive (whose eyes have been surgically altered to see in the dark) to last the long night.

Moi ce sont les Masumura qui m’intéressent dans ce qui a été annoncé. Longtemps que je n'avais pas été intéressé par un truc chez Arrow, cool!
Le reste bof, mais c'est déjà ça.

Et allez, encore des économies...

Masumura c'est top, surtout ceux là je ne les ai pas vu.
Par contre je ne comprends pas cette hype pour ce navet Flash Gordon

Moi non plus. C'est quand même hallucinant toutes ces éditions de fou pour un film pareil.

Oui, USA uniquement pour Flash Gordon.
Et pour l'avoir revu récemment, oui, c'est affreux à quasi tous les niveaux.

Dire que j'ai traîné mon père pour le voir en salle à sa sortie !
C'est sûrement lui qui a dû insister. C'est pas possible autrement

Oh moi tu sais le film je m'en fiche un peu. Un beau transfert 4K qui laisse respirer le grain original et je suis content

Facile, ce n'est pas un navet, mais un nanar.

J'ai vu Black Car test l'an dernier en étant assez soufflé par ce drame vénéneux et pessimiste autour de l'espionnage industriel (à la remarquable rigueur formelle). Pas vu le dossier noir donc je suis ravi de cette sortie.

PS : Je rejoins l'incompréhension autour de flash Gordon. Et c'est pas faute d'avoir essayé à plusieurs reprises.
