Sony Pictures Home Entertainment va bientôt contenter les fans de science-fiction et de fantastique à l'ancienne puisque l'éditeur prépare un coffret Blu-ray dédié au génial Ray Harryhausen, animateur de grand talent à qui l'on doit notamment la célèbre scène de combat contre des squelettes de Jason et les Argonautes. Attendu quelque part en octobre et pour l'instant uniquement aux Etats-Unis, ce coffret de trois disques réunira le kitchissime Les Soucoupes volantes attaquent de Fred F. Sears (dont l'imagerie servira beaucoup à Tim Burton pour son Mars Attacks quelques décennies plus tard), Le Monstre vient de la mer de Robert Gordon, et enfin A des millions de kilomètres de la Terre qui était déjà sorti en Blu-ray aux Etats-Unis. On attend désormais une date précise ainsi que les premiers détails.

Quand on pense que l'unique edition (en Z2) de Jason date de 1999; pour l'epoque le film et les bonus (dont un doc sur Ray fabuleux) etaient d'une qualité respectable ... a present ça commence a faire un peu juste ... (presque 10 ans sans aucune nouvelle edition ... une eternité dans le monde de la vidéo!!)

Jason and the Argonauts va sortir, ce n'est qu'une question de temps et de patience de notre part!
Je note tout de même que Sony ne met toujours pas des sous-titrages fr. sur les bonus en zone 1, et ce malgré tout l'espace utilisable sur des disques bleus!
Au moins, "les Sinbad" auront leurs pistes audio françaises en plus des sous-titres...c'est déjà ça!
