Parce que L'Atelier d'images a sorti un vieux master ayant servi en 2007 pour le HD-DVD. Un truc vraiment moche et lissé à mort, certes enrobé dans un bel écrin.
Mais que là, Kino va le sortir restauré à la source et en 4k donc on pourra faire des guirlandes avec le disque français.
Avant de sauter à la gorge des autres, surtout en prenant ce ton-là, ce serait bien que tu te renseignes un peu. D'avance, merci

Oui c'est de ma faute, j'utilisais google pour le taux de change et les valeurs sont incorrectes, effectivement c'est pas mal du tout (même si ça reste plus cher que la moyenne), les frais de ports inclus rendent l'offre vraiment symphathique !

Etant fan des premières oeuvres de Yimou après les avoir découvertes sur C+ dans les 90's, je suis TRES excité par cette annonce alors que je me disais il y a à peine 2 semaines que c'étai dingue qu'un film comme "Epouses et Concubines" n'ait pas eu droit à une édition BR.
Bon maintenant faudra regarder le prix affiché.

Cela m'étonne vraiment qu'un tel coffret n'arrive pas chez Criterion, vu que sauf erreur de ma part ils n'ont sorti aucun Yimou classique en HD.
Il me semble que certains étaient sortis en Corée. Mais je n'ai pas re-vérifié, je dis peut-être une bêtise.
Sinon pour te répondre Zemat, ça peut s'épuiser rapidement comme ça peut mettre 3 ou 4 mois après la sortie. Comme souvent, il n'y a pas de règle, ça dépend.
Là, c'est un coffret assez conséquent donc cher... et ils en sortent un paquet à la rentrée donc on peut penser que leurs fans auront les dents du fond qui baignent et qu'ils seront obligés de ralentir un peu. En tout cas, je ne pense pas que ce soit épuisé avant la sortie physique.
Note par contre que ça s'épuise plus vite chez l'éditeur. Il reste toujours du stock chez JB-HiFi et Amazon une fois que c'est épuisé chez Via Vision.
Chez Metaluna, ce ne sera pas le même prix que chez JB-HiFi, ce sera le prix éditeur + X euros. Ça va douiller sa race.
Mais il faudra voir ce qu'il se passe après le 1er Juillet pour ce type de commandes... peut-être que ça va finir par valoir plus le coup de les acheter directement sur des sites français au double du prix... mais je ne suis pas madame Irma.

Si un éditeur français devait le sortir, je miserais plutôt sur Sidonis, vu que c'est l'éditeur spécialisé en westerns et qu'ils ont déjà sorti des titres Republic Pictures ("L'Escadron noir", "Rio Grande").
J'espère que ça ne tardera pas trop à être annoncé, perso j'attendrais jusqu'au début de l'année prochaine et si je ne vois rien venir, je prendrais le BR Eureka (mon DVD est HS de toutes façons et c'est un film que je veux garder dans ma collection).

Si c'est l'édition limitée qui t'intéresse, je ne suis pas sûr qu'il en reste début 2022. Mais si tu penses à l'édition simple (qui devrait suivre juste derrière) alors, oui, il n'y a pas le feu...

Oui peu m'importe l'édition collector, l'édition simple fera parfaitement l'affaire, à défaut d'une édition FR annoncée d'ici-là, bien entendu. J'espère que Sidonis nous réserve de belles surprises pour la fin de l'année car jusqu'à présent leur line-up 2021 n'est pas très enthousiasmant (beaucoup de Bronson movies et de rééditions de leurs titres sortis en DVD).

J'ai le zizi tout dur.
S'ils pouvaient ajouter Not one less, Hero, Le secret des poignards volants, Shower (ouah bon...) et son apétissant et récent Cliff walkers/Impasse, ce serait tip top.
En même temps, la sublime Gong Li n'a pas joué dans ces films, du coup, cela va être ardu.
